Self taught and I CAN PAINT FOR ENGLAND AND BLOW MY OWN TRUMPET WHILST DOING IT BLIND FOLDED.

TODAYS ART IS ABOUT SPENDING MORE TIME NET WORKING THAN PAINTING.

I'm lucky I have 200 paintings and over 200 photo images in my personal collection, I can afford to network my art all day every day as I have the stock pile.x


ABOUT NETWORKING.......my tips......

Hi all, I have been net working myself for about a year now .

I have placed my profile on some of the major art net working sites like Art Review.com and Saatchi, 'show your art to the world'.

Although I have met a lot of people on Saatchi, I don't personally think their site is very safe for artists, it's open for you to be attacked.

I find sites like Art Review.com is a great meeting place and you can pick your friends.

In twelve months of net working myelf, I have been offered a space in Florence Biennale, an offer in a Gallery in New York, a personal invite to submit my work to CREATIVE GENIUS
CONTEMPORARY ARTISTS GLOBAL ART BOOK, and a stand in a Manchester Art Show and also at The Harrogate Art Show in Yorkshire Uk.

All these invites would stand me a cost of about £15,000, I think I would be better spending my time networking, this way, I will still meet people and Galleries too, Just need the buyers now.

I think I will just sit and ride it out a while longer and just network net work and more network, this is the future the way to go.

I have met some wonderful people ie artists, Galleries and Collectors too.

I would urge people to open a facebook profile as there are great groups there ie, Galleries and Collectors.

I have over 200 paintings and at least 200 photograph images that are all for sale.

I have a great stock pile and I am planning to take a break from my art for six months to net work myself in the carbon foot print group on art review and here on Ning Network creators.

Independent Collectors – Mini Manifesto

We believe that collecting contemporary art is driven by one key factor: passion. Increasing that passion is our aim. To achieve this goal, we strive to share our passion with as many people as possible. Everybody is invited: to learn more about contemporary art, to question it, to inspire and be inspired. We’re not on a mission, but if we can excite others so much that they start collecting themselves, we’ll grow even more passionate.

We are convinced: The most important skill that contemporary art collectors rely on is instinct. But information and contacts are a great help. Independent Collectors is about making these accessible to everyone eager to share. We want to compile the perfect set of tools that we think all collectors should have at their disposal, whether they are new to collecting or experts: instinct, information and contacts.

For us, collecting is closer to hunting than to gathering, because that’s where the thrill is. And hunting is at its most thrilling outside traditional and protectionist structures. We are out to open up a new playing field full of fascinating opportunities and with a different set of rules. That’s why we created Independent Collectors.
