"Marta Melniczuk, stateless ukrainian 1949 born in Wilflingen, district Rottweil, studied from 1968 to 1975 with a scholarship by Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes high-school teaching at the University of Tübingen and at the University Institute for Drawing. 1993 doctorate at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. Teaching at Thomas-Mann-Highschool in Munich. Advanced artistic training as a private student of L.Fischach from 1993 to 1997, courses in etching with S. Wehmeier, lithography with K. Imhof, and glassart with T. Boissell in Munich, courses for art teachers at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste München.

Numerous exhibitions and publications in Germany and abroad show the concentrated colour range and the dynamic movement of Marta Melniczuk's artistic world. She concentrates on connections between language and painting - her poetic series have been published in Ukrainian and Japonese Language - on the other side she tries to visualize music in paintings, where she chose compositions by Liszt, Debussy, Satie, Prokofiew and Rachmaninow...
